OUR FOUNDER

Kim Y Lim

Kim is the founder of Castell Crisis Advisors.  She has over 25 years’ experience providing crisis management advice and training to organisations across a wide range of industry and business sectors. Before establishing Castell Crisis Advisors, she worked for over a decade with Coca-Cola International, where her role included crisis management and communication responsibilities across the Asia Pacific region.

As a crisis management consultant, Kim has assisted clients in countries around the world by conducting vulnerability audits, developing business and crisis management plans, and delivering training to all levels of staff and management. She has also counselled organisation managers during and after major incidents, issues and crisis situations, to help organisations successfully resolve and recover from crisis situations with their business and reputations intact.

Kim also been an adjunct lecturer at universities in Singapore and Australia for over 10 years, teaching subjects related to risk and crisis management, organisation communication, and terrorism studies. She is a regular media commentator on business continuity and crisis management matters. She holds a PhD degree in Civil Safety and Security (Crisis Management), and Master degrees in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management; Organisation Communication; and Terrorism Safety and Security. She continues to conduct research in aspects of crisis management and terrorism.
